Tuesday was our little trip to the casino with the senior ladies. Four women went and I was the driver. We stopped in Grand Rapids and had lunch first then headed a little further south for the casino. No big winners.
Personally, I am not a gambler. I sat outside in the sun and knitted and then went to the bar and played on my iPad while they gambled away. It was a good day and I'm happy the ladies had fun.
Wednesday was gorgeous outside. Richard and I tackled the leaf situation. Twenty-five bags went to the leaf disposal. And...we aren't done yet!
Let's see, Thursday I went with friends Lynne and Kathy to Grand Rapids to a fundraiser for the GR Junior League, "Beneath the Wreath." It is a holiday shopping venue. It was nice but didn't buy anything. Afterwards, we walked to the center of downtown for lunch at a lovely Italian restaurant, Tre Cugini. We had excellent food and wine. We left the resturant at six p.m. and headed back to the car and decided to stop at another little place for another glass of wine....The Reserve. A hip little wine bar. Then....we finally did get back to the parking ramp. It was a very lovely day.
Today is a gorgeous day! I took my little lady friend to get her hair done and did her grocery shopping. Stopped and picked up a book at the library. Went to pick up another friend, Dawn, and took her clothes shopping and we stopped at The Egg Roll House for lunch. Yum!
Got a little crafting in this week. Making a little winter hat for JoJo (of course), making her a little Thanksgiving shirt, and made a sweater pillow from a tutorial I found on line....pictures of all to follow real soon.
Up for the weekend: funeral tomorrow, Richie's birthday on Sunday, and another funeral on Monday.!!!!
