Soup Supper

During the Lenten Season, our church hosts a soup supper on Wednesday evenings.  After supper, we gather in the Chapel for the Stations of the Cross.

Today, I am contributing a pot of soup, Italian Sausage Soup, a loaf of Dutch Oven Bread, and homemade peanut butter cookies.

My mom, sister, husband and I are all going tonight.   A little Lenten devotion.

I pray that our new Pope Francis will lead the catholic church well and renew our faith and provide the leadership and changes we need.

  2. Wow what a great meal you have provided. The new pope looks very happy to take over his new job.

DID I ever tell you while living in Germany I visited the Roma and the Vatican during the Midnight Mass. I saw Pope John Paul 2( I think) in 2003 and listen to his service and watched the million of camera from around the world cover this evening. It was a Christmas Trip to Italy during school break when I was working on the base in Germany. A trip I will never forget. Hugs Judy
