Maggie made a glass garden totem for me for my birthday and I loved it. It looks so awesome in the yard.
We decided to hit the thrift shops, estate sales, and yard sales and secure a stash of glass and try to make some to sell. We have a sweat shop out in our garage. We've been letting the creative juices flow and I think they are turning out pretty awesome. It is a process.....glue a few pieces together and let dry for 24 hrs. and continue the process the next day.
Hopefully by next weekend, in time for Mother's Day, we are going to secure a stall at our local farmer's market and sell our stash.
What do you think of them?
It's been a hectic week. A dear friend moved so I helped orchestra the ordeal and we got her in and a tad bit settled. My mom had an appointment with the opthalmalogist this week and he informed her she could no longer drive due to her macular degeneration. So dealing with that issue. It's not going to be easy for her as she is so independent. Seems like it was go, go, go this week. Looking forward to relaxing a bit this weekend....maybe happy hour in the camper! Watch and see!
