We met our new camping friends again for another venture. This time we went out to the channel - this is where Muskegon Lake feeds into Lake Michigan. Lovely setting but the park wasn't my favorite.
We had a nice time. Met a few nice people and a couple dogs - Ozzie was my favorite!
We walked the channel wall, biked it and just hung out there. It was so peaceful, calm and pretty.

Pretty lighthouses and the breakwalls |
In the evening of the following day, a freighter came through....the H. Lee White. It was huge!
The sun was just starting to set. I knew I didn't have time to make it out to the beach to get a real good photo.
We were sitting enjoying our candlelight moments; a man walked by
and asked if we were honeymooning! Isn't that sweet?

It was a nice relaxing few days. Perfect weather, good friends, good bike rides! Nice being with my husband.
