Sunday Bike Ride

We put our bikes on the bike carrier and headed to the bike trail downtown. We've went a different direction today. Perfect temperatures.

Nice bike path which weaves along the river, the lakes, the swamp and busy roads.

Looking out to Muskegon Lake.

Check out all the cat tails on the right.

Pretty weeds.

Queen Anne's lace.

Lots of different berries along the way.

A little Muskegon history.

They named a park in honor of my husband?

Railroad. Tracks.

After 11 miles, we had to refresh....nothing like a Bloody Mary at Mike's Tavern.

A pretty memorial garden sets along Western Avenue.

The train depot now the Visitors Center.

Until next time..... What did you do today?

  1. Great post Barbie . . . long trip with beautiful Muskegon trails and sights!

I washed some windows and wrote a post about our evening last night. Does that count?
