Florida Royal Red Shrimp

Only a few captains with large boats are capable of working the rugged Royal Red Shrimp fishery.  Spending their lives in the deep waters of the Gulf Stream, these unique animals are among the cleanest shrimp caught. Their entire life cycle is spent 1200 feet below the surface of the water, away from the perils and pollutants of the coastal waters.  Florida's Royal Red Shrimp are a true delicacy with the distinctive sweet taste and tender texture.  They are yummy!  They are only available in the spring.

We had these at Dixie Crossroads in Titusville.
They bring these wonderful hot corn fritters to your table too.  They were so yummy~
